一項涉及新加坡華人的調查發現，每天喝3杯或3杯以上咖啡可以把患肝癌的風險降低44%。</p>
<p>
新加坡國立大學流行病學系的研究人員提出，咖啡豆中發現的兩種油類咖啡醇和咖啡豆醇具有護肝的功效。</p>
<p>
越來越多的跡象表明，咖啡不利於健康的觀念是錯誤的。這項始於1993年的研究提供了最新證據。研究涉及超過6.3萬名45-74歲的新加坡華人―――據認爲，他們患肝癌的風險較高。</p>
<p>
參加此項研究的許雲佩(音)副教授最近在美國《癌症原因與控制》雜誌撰文說，這一發現意味着喝咖啡的人可以減少對患肝癌的擔心。</p>
<p>
該雜誌援引許雲佩的話說：“茶往往得到很正面的描述，相比之下，咖啡卻常常不得不和壞形象作鬥爭。”</p>
<p>
但是，她的研究小組對綠茶開展的研究發現，綠茶對預防肝癌沒有任何作用。</p>
<p>
2008年的一項研究也發現，每天喝4杯或4杯以上咖啡可能把患糖尿病的風險降低30%。</p>
