咖啡除了提神、利尿、具抗氧化能力、防癌之外,研究也發現,它能促進新陳代謝,加速脂肪分解;另一方面,喝咖啡也有暫時抑制食慾的作用。但千萬別飲用過量,免得上癮、心悸、失眠等負面效果統統來,就浪費咖啡的好處了。
早餐後
咖啡因可提高人體消耗熱量的速率,有助控制體重。或許你直覺認爲:「先喝咖啡就不想喫早餐,喫得愈少,對減肥當然比較有利。」這樣想就錯了!「省略早餐」正是減肥盲點。
研究發現,就算他們整天攝取較少熱量,但不喫早餐的人通常BMI較高,不利減肥。因此,喫完早餐後再喝咖啡,是較好的做法。
此外,很多人習慣邊喫早餐邊喝咖啡,其實並不是最好時機。因爲剛起牀還很有精神,咖啡的提神效果相對不明顯。
如果擔心咖啡影響睡眠、習慣在早上喝咖啡,9點半到11點半是較好時間,因爲是可體松的低點,提神效果佳。
運動前
運動前一個小時喝咖啡,攝取約200毫克咖啡因,可提高神經系統的興奮,促進身體能量消耗,加速脂肪燃燒,並且運動時更能專心一致,對於增強肌力和肌耐力都有助益,也能減少肌肉痠痛症狀。
不過,由於咖啡利尿,會加速身體脫水,醫生提醒,運動時必須隨時補充水分;對於高血壓患者來說,也要避免咖啡因可能造成血壓短暫升高,這時劇烈運動容易引起心肌梗塞或腦中風等急症。
但也要注意,若習慣在咖啡中加入奶精和糖,恐怕減肥不成,反而喫下更多熱量,勸你若要減肥消水腫,還是以黑咖啡較適合。
