<span style="font-size:16px;"> 中新社紐約9月3日電 擁有147年曆史的美國最小城鎮——懷俄明州的布福德(Buford)，去年被鎮上唯一居民以90萬美元公開拍賣。3日，新主人、38歲的越南商人阮廷範(Nguyen Dinh Pham)在小鎮開張儀式上宣佈重塑計劃，將小鎮變身成一個咖啡銷售中心。</span></p>

<span style="font-size:16px;"> 坐落在懷俄明州東南部連接紐約與舊金山的80號州級公路旁的布福德，誕生於1866年該州橫貫大陸的鐵路建設過程中。這座全美最小的城鎮海拔2400米，佔地9.9英畝(0.04平方公里)，其中包括一棟房屋、便利店、加油站，還有手機信號塔和自己的郵政編碼。</span></p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:16px;"> 興建之初，布福德作爲護衛鐵路的軍事要塞曾興盛一時，至1900年左右還擁有約2000人口。隨着時間的流逝，小鎮日漸式微。1980年，越戰老兵薩蒙斯(Don Sammons)和妻子、兒子搬到了這個小鎮，並於1992年將其買下。在妻子去世、兒子搬出後，薩蒙斯成爲布福德唯一的居民。</span></p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:16px;"> 去年4月，62歲的薩蒙斯決定將小鎮公開拍賣，此舉藉由超過100個國家媒體的渲染吸引了全世界的目光。來自46個不同國家的競拍者來到現場，網上拍賣也同步進行。阮廷範專程從越南飛到布福德，最終他以90萬美元擊敗其他競爭者得標。</span></p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:16px;"> 阮廷範與合夥人在越南共同開辦的PhinDeli公司一直專注於爲跨國公司在越南銷售美國品牌的咖啡，他們表示，“現在我們可以反向美國人介紹越南咖啡，這非常令人興奮。”越南是世界第二大咖啡出口國，幾個零售咖啡品牌都沒有在美國銷售。</span></p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:16px;"> 阮廷範3日宣佈，將小鎮更名爲“布福德PhinDeli鎮”，同時推出針對美國消費者的越南精品咖啡業務，並計劃在小鎮的便利店免費爲遊客提供咖啡樣品。州、郡官員，社區成員，越南和越南裔美國嘉賓及媒體代表出席了當天的揭牌儀式，薩蒙斯被任命爲聯合鎮長，也是阮的咖啡貿易伙伴。</span></p>
<p>
<span style="font-size:16px;"> “這是一個令人興奮的百年小鎮。如今國際旅客可以在這裏休息、加油、買小喫，更可以品嚐高品質的咖啡。20年前買下它時，我認爲它很特殊，現在全世界都會有同樣的感覺了。”薩蒙斯讚賞阮廷範的樂觀和熱情，“他讓我想到了20年前的自己，希望他能實現自己版本的‘美國夢’。”</span></p>
